Global fast-food giant McDonald’s APMEA (Asia Pacific Middle East Africa) Women’s Leadership Network (WLN) recognized and honored Margot Torres, VP-Marketing for McDonald’s Philippines with the Women’s Leadership Brand Ambassador Award. The WLN Leadership Awards recognizes individuals who encourage and support the development of women working at McDonald’s. The award cites Torres for her consistent demonstration of McDonald’s brand values, leadership behaviors and collaborative approach in contributing to the entire McDonald’s system. Aside from her leadership in McDonald’s, Torres was the former chairman of the 2009 Philippine Advertising Congress and is also the current chairman of the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA).
