Golden Arches Development Corp. (McDonald’s) with DDB Philippines was honored with two prestigious awards in the recently held Tambuli Awards 2009 at the Li Seng Giap Auditorium of the University of Asia and the Pacific. McDonald’s won a bronze award in the category Best Small Budget Service Brand Campaign for the Ronald McDonald House Charities campaign “Hands” and a silver award for Most Effective Teens Brand Campaign for the highly infectious “Burger! Burger!”
The Tambuli Awards is the first and only award-giving body in the Philippines that honors marketing campaigns that have valued both business results and socially relevant marketing communications. According to Margot Torres, Vice President Marketing for McDonald’s Philippines, “These awards are testaments of our dedication in developing campaigns that are effective, relevant and more importantly mirrors McDonald’s as a brand of value.”
